Just who is this Osborne guy, anyway?
A Brief History
Todd Osborne is an award-winning voice actor based in Madison, WI, with over 30 years of VO and broadcast experience. His voice has been featured at Nascar events and international expos, he's reminded you to keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times, and he can make your granular sludge demonstration plant and new coffee product sound equally rich and inviting.
Todd started his voice career as an on-air radio talent—recording radio and TV commercials, producing morning radio entertainment, and hosting and emceeing live performances and special events. His work took him from Las Vegas to Seattle and eventually back to the Midwest.
In 2008 he was added to the roster at Moore Creative Talent Agency in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, and he has recently joined Jennifer's Talent Unlimited in Milwaukee. He incorporated Osborne Audio in 2012.
Training
Todd attends workshops and seminars devoted to the art of voice performance, including VoiceActing Academy and Voice World Toronto. His inspirations include J. Michael Collins, Pat Fraley, Dave Courvoisier, and Nancy Wolfson. He received related education early in his broadcast career with a Certificate in Radio Broadcasting from Brown Institute and multiple trips to the Conclave Radio Conference and Morning Show Bootcamp.
Print and Music
Equally comfortable in front of a camera and behind a microphone, his versatility and tremendous coachability make him the perfect guy for those specialized print jobs too.
In addition to his voice work, Todd is an accomplished violinist and bass guitarist. On the violin, he has performed for audiences from Atlanta to Seattle. On the bass guitar, he’s performed at the House of Blues, the Hard Rock Cafe, and in Toronto, CN, and Edinburgh, Scotland.
The Process
When you need a quick turnaround, Todd can deliver right from his home studio. He also works with area partners and welcomes the chance to record at their studios, where producers—and often clients—can direct the delivery to get exactly the read they want.
